SEAMLESS STRUCTURE
Continuously welded chutes use smooth male–female interlocking joints for a snag-free interior. A 600 mm diameter in 1.5 mm S304 stainless steel offers strong resistance to alkalis, acids, and humidity. Diameters of 300 mm and 450 mm are also available.
FIRE SPRINKLERS
Laundry chute installations include 1⁄2” glass-bulb fire sprinklers (standard-response pendant type, 72°C activation) compliant with NFPA 13. Sprinklers are positioned on alternate floors and at the chute top in accordance with NFPA 82 to ensure full system protection.
LAUNDRY DISCHARGE
Clothes are safely directed down the chute to a designated collection basket. The discharge point features a fire-rated, top-hinged stainless steel door held open by a U.L.-approved fusible link (72°C), ensuring safe operation and automatic closure in the event of a fire.
